red pill was founded in 2023 to address the growing disconnect in our communities and capital markets. Targeting this misalignment, we use a simple framework, with a dual mandate:
to achieve superior investment returns; and
to positively impact communities.
This dual mandate allows red pill to create economic alignment + a win-win outcome for all.
RED PILL FOUNDING PARTNER
Jonathan Lange began his real estate journey in 1995 with his uncle’s Century 21 brokerage.
Today, he is a thought leader, visionary, and explorer of intersections, with two decades of CRE experience.
Prior to founding red pill, Jonathan helped launch + oversee Boston Properties' Life Sciences platform, and led the firm’s Los Angeles region; co-founded a multifamily technology venture; and became one of JLL’s youngest-ever vice presidents. He has structured over $11 billion of commercial real estate ventures with US pension, sovereign wealth and family office funds.
Jonathan’s multifaceted experience + his unwavering commitment to this mission shapes red pill's ethos of blending socially responsible + financially sound real estate practices.
